"Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to You I pray." Psalm 5:2
Pretty simple. David is humbly asking God to hear and answer his prayers.
This should be my prayer too. But how often am I actually asking God to answer me when I have looked for answers everywhere else but with Him? How often does my Psalm actually read more like this, "God why aren't You answering me and helping me? I've looked for help everywhere and now I finally have to come to You."
If I was humble enough to rightly view Him as my King and my God, I would automatically go to Him first. I would seek answers in Him alone and pray to Him alone - the way it should be.
